Kokila was born in a very traditional and sumptuous family in Bangalore, Karnataka-South India. Mother used to call her 'lucky charm' and made her feel special. She grew up like a soldier. Her father being Army Captain, she would proudly declare, her father her hero and imbibed his qualities as she stands tall now. As a child, her hobby was writing poems, story telling, painting, gardening, home décor and service to mankind. Very soft spoken girl, fun loving, but strong-will-powered, as shown in her book "Lil' Nugget From The Heart" Kokila is simple and authentic, a graduate with Economics-Major, holds distinction in Master of Library and Information Science (MLIS), and a Fine-Artist. As a Senior Division Cadet Sergeant for Karnataka, Bangalore Unit National Cadet Corps won three Best-Cadet Medals including one Gold Medal in Shooting. Won The Best Teacher Award. She loves nature and has planted over hundreds of saplings over the years while on humble visits to religious homes, well-wishers, institutions, old age homes and lives in a lush-eco-friendly environment.
